Marshawn Terrell Lynch was born on April 22, 1986, in Oakland, California. He is a former professional football player who became interested in sports during his high school years. While attending high school, he participated in basketball, football, track, and wrestling, being a four-sport star. He attended the University of California, Berkley, where he was voted the school’s second all-time career rusher, playing for the California Golden Bears football team. Marshawn Lynch was named the Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year in 2006 and an AFCA All-America back in 2006. In 2007, Lynch was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of 2007 NFL Draft. He played at the position of a running back.
