Ane Brun (March 10, 1976) is a 43 year-old Norweigan singer and songwriter based in Stockholm managing her own record label, DetErMine Records. Brun began her music career in 2002 in Stockholm, ‘Spending Time With Morgan’, through her own label. This was followed by her second album in 2005, ‘A Temporary Dive’, reaching the number 1 peak position on VG-lista in Norway and number 12 on the Swedish national charts Sverigetopplistad and was certified platinum in Norway. She won the country’s Norwegian Spellemannsprisen, the native Grammy equivalent for Best Female Artist in 2005. Her fourth album, ‘Duets’, was released in 2005 which features Canadian singer Ron Sexsmith. Brun spent most of her time after ‘Duets’, globally touring. Ane released a collection of her songs, along with unreleased music, titled ‘Rarities’ with her current top hits, ‘Halo’ with 48.6 million plays next to ‘All My Tears’ with 13 million plays.
