Kadavar Bio
Kadavar is a Berlin-based German rock band that was formed in 2010.
Their throwback sound, which incorporates psychedelic rock and stoner rock, has been compared to bands like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath from the 1970s hard rock/heavy metal era.
Christoph "Lupus" Lindemann, guitarist/lead vocalist, Christoph "Tiger" Bartelt, and bassist Simon "Dragon" Bouteloup make up Kadavar at the moment.
Drummer Bartelt and guitarist Philipp "Mammut" Lippitz started performing together in 2010. When Lindemann joined as a bassist and vocalist, they became a band. Lindemann switched to guitar, allowing Lippitz to go to bass. On August 25, 2011, they self-released their first recording, an eponymous two-song CD-R.
Since then, they have released over 4 albums, winning numerous awards in the process.
