Malcolm Gladwell is a Canadian author, public speaker, and journalist. Treading the boundaries of intellectual and popularizer, Gladwell is known for his views on popular literature. Talking about The New Yorker, Malcolm has been their staff writer since 1999, before which he served at the Washington Post. Five of his six books were on The New York Times Best Seller list and his works include ‘The Tipping Point’, ‘Blink’, ‘What the Dog Saw: And Other Adventures’, a collection of his experiences as a journalist, ‘Outliers: The Story of Success’, ‘David and Goliath: Underdogs, the Art of Battling Giants’, ‘Talking To Strangers: What We Should Know about the People We Don't Know’, and ‘Misfits’. The podcast ‘Revisionist History’ is hosted by Malcolm. His awards and honors include the American Sociological Association’s first Award for Excellence in the Reporting of Social Issues, Honorary degrees from the universities of Toronto and Waterloo. Time named him one of their 100 most influential people in 2005.
