Ophelia Lovibond is an English actress born February 19, 1986, in London, England, UK. Lovibond is mostly known for her appearances in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), a British comedy TV series W1A, and season 3 of Elementary (2012), where she played Kitty Winter, Sherlock Holmes' new apprentice. Lovibond started her acting career at a very young age, appearing in the sitcom The Wilsons (2000) that aired on Channel 4. Nine years later, Lovibond joined the cast of FM (2009), a British situational comedy starring the British comedy superstar Chris O'Dowd, as well as Kevin Bishop, and Nina Sosanya. In BBC satirical show W1A (2014) Lovibond portrays the role of Izzy Gould. In Heartbeat, a British period TV series based on the works of Nicholas Rhea, Lovibond appeared on an episode in season 17. Apart from her role as Carina in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and Thor: The Dark World (2013), Lovibond's cinematic performances include Polanski's Oliver Twist (2005), No Strings Attached (2013), and two biographical dramas - Nowhere Boy (a biographical story about John Lennon) and Rocketman (an Elton John biography).
