Joy Villa, born Joy Angela Villa on April 25th, 1986 in Orange County, California is an American singer, actress and songwriter. From the age of 14 she worked as and actress and producer with the Youth Network TV on Comcast Cable Television. She appeared in episodes of CSI: New York, The Valley Girls, MTV Next, and Heroes.
As a musician Joy blends the genres of hard rock, acoustic pop and dance music. In 2011 she released her debut single “Cold Wind.” Joy followed that up with the single “Drop Him Off” in 2012. In 2014 she released her debut EP entitled I Make the Static. The EP charted in at number 1 on the U.S. Rock and Alternative Charts, selling over 29,000 copies. Her EP spawned the singles “Vagabonds, Run and Hide, and Beautiful.” In 2017 she released her newest single called “Make America Great Again.”
