Christopher James Mears MBE, better known as Chris Mears, is an English professional synchronized diver and DJ who represented England in numerous international diving events. He was born in Reading, Berkshire, England, on February 7, 1993.
Chris began practicing synchronized diving at a young age, but he turned professional in the early 2010s. He went on to have a successful diving career that saw him rack up several medals in international 3 Meters Synchronized events, including two gold medals at the Commonwealth Games, one gold medal and one silver at the European Championships, and a bronze medal at the World Championships. His career highlight was winning gold at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics with his diving partner Jack Laugher.
Since retiring from active competition, Chris is known for his work as a DJ in the music industry.
