Verne Troyer Bio

Verne Jay Troyer was born on January 1st, 1969 in Sturgis, Michigan, USA. He is an American comedian, stunt performer and actor. Suffering from dwarfism, the actor is known for such roles in films such as “Dunston Checks In”, “Mighty Joe Young”, “Jingle All The Way” and more. He is best known for playing Mini-Me in the Austin Powers series of comedy films. Most recently the actor has had parts in “The Love Guru”, and the hit film, “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” as Percy, working alongside Dustin Hoffman and Natalie Portman. Troyer has also had a part in “Keith Lemon: The Film” and the animated comedy “Gnome Alone” as the titular character, The Gnome. The film also features Olivia Holt and George Lopez.  Troyer has also worked extensively in television, in shows such as Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and Jack of All Trades. This unforgettable smart talented entertainer died on April 21st, 2018 in L.A., California, USA.
