Adam Shankman Bio

Adam Shankman in Los Angeles, California on November 27, 1964. He won the Artistic Director’s Award in the 2002 Giffoni Film Festival for A Walk to Remember. He received a Webby Award for Prop 8: The Musical for Online Film & Video; Comedy, Individual Short or Episode. The said work also won the People’s Voice award.

His directing credits include Cosmo’s Tale (1998), The Wedding Planner (2001), and Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005). He also directed an episode of Modern Family, Glee, and Being Mary Jane. He also worked on What Men Want schedule for a 2019 release and Disenchanted.

He is the executive producer of Step Up: High Water and Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special. He will also produce After and Status Update.
