Andrea Pinamonti (born 19 May 1999) is an Italian professional footballer, best known for playing as a forward for Serie A club Sassuolo and Inter Milan. He also represents the Italy national team.
Pinamonti kickstarted his professional career at Inter Milan, having emerged through the ranks of the club's esteemed youth academy. He made his first appearance for Inter on February 12, 2017, in a Serie A match against Empoli at San Siro, where Inter emerged victorious with a 2-0 win. However, due to stiff competition for playing time, Pinamonti found it challenging to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup.
He went on loan to Frosinone for the 2018/2019 season. During his time with Frosinone, he featured in 36 matches and contributed 5 goals. Seeking to continue his growth, Pinamonti was then sent on loan to Genoa on June 30, 2019. The loan deal included an obligation to purchase Pinamonti's contract. However, on September 18, 2020, Inter Milan exercised the option to buy back his contract from Genoa.
On August 11, 2022, Pinamonti secured a loan move to Sassuolo with an obligation to be purchased permanently. As part of the agreement, Pinamonti signed a subsequent contract that will remain valid until June 2027.
In addition to his club career, Pinamonti has also represented Italy at the international level. He was a crucial component of the Italy U-17 team that triumphed in the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in 2016. Recognizing his potential, he received his first call-up to the senior Italian national team in November 2020.
