Myrath is a Tunisian progressive rock band formed in 2001 in Ezzahra. It consists of vocalist Zaher Zorgatti, drummer Morgan Berthet, keyboard player Elyes Bouchoucha, guitarist Malek Ben Arbia, and guitarist Anis Jouini, most of them former members of metal band Xtazy. The band gained critical acclaim in Europe as soon as their 2005 digital demo “Double Face” was circulated, and signed with the French label Bremmis Music for their debut LP “Hope.” After a tour through Europe, the band issued its second album “Desert Call” and quickly returned to the studio with Frederik Nordstrom and Jens Bogren to release their next album, featuring the talents of Morgan Berthet and Clémentine Delauney. The band went on to share the stage with acts like Dream Theater, H.I.M., Symphony X, and W.A.S.P. for the next few years, earning headlines in the world’s main metal festivals. In 2019 they signed with earMUSIC and put out “Shehili” and a live album titled “Live in Carthage,” recorded in Sweden.
