Stefania Spampinato Bio
Stefania Spampinato was raised in Belpasso, a tiny settlement at the foot of the Etna Volcano. She was born in Catania, Sicily, Italy. At age 6, she started dancing. She relocated to Milan and got a BA in performing arts there. This resulted in a highly lucrative dance and theatre career that lasted more than ten years and involved traveling to cities like Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai, Mumbai, and Berlin as well as collaborations with artists like Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Joaquin Cortez, The Voice UK, and X Factor US & UK. She joined the cast of Grey's Anatomy in 2017. She also portrays Dr. Carina Deluca in Station19, the spinoff of Grey's Anatomy. She was also cast in the Oscar-winning James Mangold film "Ford vs. Ferrari," and in the Italian comedy "Il Giorno più bello del mondo," which was written, directed, and starred by Italian comedy maestro Alessandro Siani, in the lead role.
