Born in 1976, 88-Keys (Charles Misodi Njapa) is a rap artist from New York City, New York. 88-Keys began his career in music as an intern at the recording studio The Music Palace. After finding some success producing music and remixes, he finally released his first album The Death of Adam in 2008. 88-Keys returned to music production for other artists after his first album, though during this time he did produce music for the song “No Church in the Wild” by Jay-Z and Kanye West, which went on to win a Grammy. 88-Keys recently returned to making his own music in 2019 with the release of his single “That’s Life”.
