Abigail Barlow is a singer and songwriter born on November 9, 1998, infrom Birmingham, Alabama. She was inspired to study music by watching her father play the piano. It wasn’t long before she learned how to play the piano herself. At the age of 18, Barlow moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music, singing and producing her own music. Due to overwhelming peer pressure, Barlow was homeschooled and graduated earlier than her peers. She began uploading covers to Musical.ly before it merged with TikTok, gaining over 600,000 followers. On TikTok, Barlow has over 2 million followers. She gained popularity in 2021 when she uploaded a musical version of the hit Netflix series, Bridgerton. Barlow wrote the songs with fellow songwriter Emily Bear. The songs became a viral hit and were quickly noticed by the cast and crew of the show. In 2020, she released her debut self-titled EP, which she co-wrote with Megan Trainor. Her single Heartbreak Hotel reached the top 10 in the iTunes Pop Charts and has over 8 million listens on Spotify.
