Adam Goodes is best known as a former professional Australian Rules footballer who twice won the Brownlow Medal, was a dual premiership player, four-time All-Australian team member, a member of the Indigenous Team of the Century, and represented Australia in the International Rules Series. Along with all that, Goodes holds the record for games played for an Indigenous player with 372 games played between 1999 and 2015. Goodes announced his retirement in 2015, and moved on to found the Go Foundation whose work garnered him the Australian of the Year award.
