Aisha Hinds is an American actress with many film and television credits to her name, born in Brooklyn, New York on November 13, 1975. Her television career, beginning in 2003, was marked with a role in ‘‘NYPD Blue’’, and from there she landed a recurring role on ‘‘The Shield’’. Her portfolio is packed with guest-starring credits in numerous popular TV shows, some of which are ‘‘Boston Legal’’, ‘‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’’, ‘‘Crossing Jordan’’, ‘‘Law and Order: Special Victims Unit’’, ‘‘Cold Case’’, ‘‘Desperate Housewives’’, ‘‘Lost’’, ‘‘Bones’’, ‘‘CSI: NY’’, and ‘‘CSI: Miami’’. A few years into her already well-established career, Aisha began landing recurring roles in highly successful TV shows such as ‘‘True Blood’’ and ‘‘NCIS: Los Angeles’’. TV shows ‘‘Invasion’’ and ‘‘Detroit 1-8-7’’ saw Aisha as series regular, along with ‘‘Under the Dome’’, which is a television science-fiction series based on Stephen King’s book, and ‘‘9-1-1’’ in which she stars. She also appeared in a number of films, such as ‘‘Mr. Brooks’’ alongside Demi Moore and Kevin Costner. Aisha had supporting roles in films ‘‘If I Stay’’, which starred Chloë Grace Moretz, and ‘‘Beyond the Lights’’.
