Alex the Astronaut Bio
Alexandra Lynn, better known as Alex the Astronaut, is an Australian singer and songwriter. She was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on March 3, 1995. Alex began her singing career in 2017 with the release of her debut project To Whom It May Concern. Alex has been nominated for an ARIA Music Award for Breakthrough Artist – Release, an AIR Award for Best Independent Album, a National Live Music Award for Best Live Voice of the Year, and she won a J Award for Unearthed Artist of the Year. Alex is known for her hit songs Waste of Time, Happy Song – Alternate Version, I Think You’re Great, Not Worth Hiding, Already Home, and her albums The Theory of Absolutely Nothing and The Space Tour Live. She has performed at Primavera Sound, the Great Escape, triple j’s One Night Stand, and Neighbourhood Festival.
