Alex Zhang Hungtai (Dirty Beaches) Bio
Dirty Beaches is one of the stage names of Alex Zhang Hungtai who was born in Taipei, Taiwan on September 4, 1980. He released his debut album Old Blood under the Montreal-based label Fixture Records in 2007. The following year, he released another album, Horror, under the same record label. His third album Night City which was released in 2010 under Night-People included the tracks “Paris,” “Shadows,” “Night Drive,” and “Lone Star.” The following year, Dirty Beaches released his 2011 album, Badlands, under Zoo Music. He remained with the same record label in 2013 with the release of Drifters/Love Is The Devil. This album was followed by Stateless in 2014. Dirty Beaches has also been touring with musicians like Ela Orleans, Dum Dum Girls, and Xiu Xiu. Xiu Xiu
