Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson Bio
Alexander Gustafsson was born in Arboga, Sweden on January 15, 1987. When he was 16, he won the national championships in boxing. As of February 11, 2019, he is the No. 1 Current Best MMA Light Heavyweight Fighter. He was also the No. 12 MMA Fighter of the Year for 2012 and No. 23 Current Best Pound for Pound MMA Fighter. He is known by the nickname The Mauler and he is affiliated with Allstars Training Center. His last fight was against Jon Jones on UFC 232 on December 2018 where he lost by ground and pound. He made his UFC debut on November 2009 on UFC 105 where he won against Jared Hamman. He holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Before joining UFC he won the Superior Challenge 3 bout against Vladimir Shemarov.
