Alfonso Borbolla Bio

Alfonso Borbolla, also known as Poncho, is a Mexican actor and comedian, born on February 18, 1980, in Mexico. Alfonso is known for various projects in television and film, as well as extensive theatrical engagement. He debuted on television in Mikorte Informativo in 2009, which marked the beginning of his acting career. The Mexican actor got his first recurring role as Javier on Soy Tu Fan in 2010. In the 2012 film Diente por diente, he played Pablo Juan Kramsky and Isaias Valente in the 2018 El Secreto de Selena. His portrayal as Carlos Salinas de Gortari in El César, a film about the boxer Julio César Chávez, is another on the list of his performing roles. Alfonso also played Ral Velasco in La Serie on Netflix. He is also recognized for his regular appearances on Eugenio Derbez's reality show LOL: Last One Laughing and as a participant in the first season of Me Caigo de Risa, a game show and comedy. In the HBO Latino series Sr. Avila, he co-starred with Tony Dalton and Nailea Norvind.
