Amber Heard Bio

Amber Heard is an American actress and model. She was born Amber Laura Heard on the 22nd of April, 1986, in Austin, Texas, U.S. She started her career acting in music videos and modelling. She landed small roles in television series like “Jack & Bobby” and “The O.C.”. Heard made her film debut in the sports drama “Friday Night Lights”. Her first starring role was in the CW’s teen drama “Hidden Palms”. In 2008, she gained recognition when she appeared in the comedy “Pineapple Express” and in the action movie “Never Back Down”. She also starred in the slasher movie “All the Boys Love Mandy Lane” which premiered at the Toronto International Film Fest. In 2011, she starred opposite Johnny Depp in the movie “The Rum Diary”. In 2017 she joined the DC cinematographic universe when she took the role of Mera in “Justice League”, and the year after in “Aquaman”.
