Amina Buddafly was born and raised in Hamburg and had a career that began when he and her sister formed the group Black Buddafly in the early 90’s and they had a record deal by the age of 15. The duo consisted of Aminata, otherwise known as Amina and Safietou Schmal, otherwise known as Jazz. With two albums, Rock -A-Bye and Bad Girl the duo had considerable success.
In 2010 Amina went solo and is currently on the zVH1 hit TV show Love and Hip Hop: New York alongside talent such as Remy Ma, Yandy Smith and Cardi B. Her current single More Than You is an online success and her book The Other Woman is also successful and she is currently presenting the book on a world tour.
