Anish Sood Bio
Anish Sood is a DJ, music producer, and songwriter born in Goa, India on November 22, 1989. Sood grew up listening to music because of his father and uncle who played guitar. He began collecting CDs at the age of 9, mainly listening to artists like The Beatles and The Scorpions. However, at 15, he discovered dance music, and his path started to take shape. He soon started to DJ for his friends in college and at parties. Soon, he began playing at local clubs and eventually became a well-known DJ both in India and internationally. Sood started to produce his own music in 2011. His first album, Future Perfect, was released in 2017 and featured the singer Jonita Gandhi. Many of Sood’s tracks have hit the top 5 in India’s iTunes chart. His single, Starry Night, received an Independent Music Award. Sood has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, like David Guetta, Steve Aoki, and KSHMR.
