Amon Tobin, whose real birth name is Amon Adonai Santos de Araújo Tobin, is a Brazilian electronic DJ and music producer who was born on February 7, 1972, in Rio de Janeiro. He began his career in 1995 while he was living in Brighton, England. He quickly signed with Ninja Tune records label, with whom he released over eight full length studio albums. He also has released music under different aliases counting over 6 more albums.
Many of his songs have been used in several movies, including “The Italian Job” and “21”. He also has created music for independent films among which stand out Hungarian film “Taxidermia” and Palestinian movie “Divine Intervention”. He also created and produced the musical score of the video games “Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory” and “Infamous”.
