Andrew Luck is an American football player born in Washington, D.C. on September 12, 1989. He is currently a quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League. He attended high school at Stratford High School and played for the school team where he threw for 7,139 yards and 53 touchdowns in his high school career. Luck went on to attend college at Stanford University on an athletic scholarship and played for the Stanford Cardinal football team from 2008 to 2011. In 2011 he was awarded a number of awards for his senior year in college like the Maxwell Award, the Manning Award, the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award, and others. In 2012 he was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts first overall in the 2012 NFL Draft. He signed a four year contract with the Colts for $22 million.
