Angourie Rice is an award-winning Australian actress best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on January 1, 2001. Angourie began her acting career in the early 2010s with appearances in the short films Hidden Clouds, Transmission, and Mercy. She has since become famous through performances in the blockbuster films Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Nice Guys, and The Beguiled, but she is best known for starring in the Marvel film Spider-Man: Far from Home alongside Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon. Angourie has also been a regular on the TV series The Daily Bugle and Mare of Easttown. She has won multiple awards including a Film Critics Circle of Australia Award for Best Actress, an Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Award for Best Lead Actress, and an Australian Film Critics Association Award for Best Actress.
