Jonathan Groff Bio
Jonathan Groff is an American actor and singer. He was born on the 26th of March, 1985 in Pennsylvania, US in a family with Swiss and German origins. His full name is Jonathan Drew Groff. In 2003, Groff was casted as Rolf in a national tour of “The Sound of Music”. After the tour, Groff performed at the Fulton Opera House in “Ragtime”, “Evita”, “My Fair Lady” and many others theater plays. Groff won the Actor’s Equity Association card in 2005, with his performance at the musical “Fame” at the North Shore Music Theatre. A few months later, he made his Broadway debut as the lead role and for the musical “In My Life” by Joseph Brooks. Groff voiced Kristoff, one of the lead roles in Disney's movie “Frozen” in 2013, and in 2015, he reprised his role in the sequel “Frozen Fever”. Also, in 2015, Groff starred as Patrick Murray in HBO's comedy-drama series “Looking”.
