Apparat Bio
Apparat, born Sascha Ring on June 27th, 1978 in Quedlinburg, Germany is a German electronic music DJ and producer. He began producing music in 1996 with a focus on the genres of electronic, techno, ambient, and IDM. In 2001 he released his first album called Multifunktionsebene. The next year he released his follow up album entitled Tttrial and Eror on the label Shitkatapult. In 2003 he collaborated with Ellen Allien on the album Berlinette. In 2005 he released an EP named Silizium. In 2009 he released his self-titled album on the label Bpitch Control. In the same year he received the Qwartz Dancefloor Electronic Music Award. In 2011 he signed the British label Mute Records. He then released his new album called The Devil’s Walk.
