Aryna Sabalenka Bio

Belarusian professional tennis player, Aryna Sabalenka was born on 5th May 1998 in Minsk, Belarus. She started training at the National Tennis Academy in Minsk in 2014. She remained relatively unknown until 2017, when she helped the Belarus Fed Cup Team finish second. After this, she had a successful WTA tour, making it to four finals in 2018 with eight top-ten wins. She won three titles at the Wuhan Open in 2019 and won the WTA Elite Trophy later that year. She held her World No.11 ranking for two consecutive years. In 2019, she started her doubles career with Elise Martens. The duo won two Premier Mandatory tournaments, including the Miami Open and the Indian Wells Open. They also have two Grand Slam doubles titles, including the 2019 US Open and the 2021 Australian Open. Her highest career ranking is World No.2 in singles and World No.1 in doubles.
