Axel Tony Bio
Axel Tony, born on December 4, 1984, in Colombes is a French singer of mixed Cameroonian, Martinique, and Vietnamese origin. When he was a teenager he discovered R&B and soul. He was part of the famous choir We Are One, and as he enjoys singing live in front of an audience, he decided to devote himself entirely to music. He has accompanied Diam’s on her tour In my bubble as a backing vocalist, and later he became a backing vocalist for the rapper Kery James.
In 2010 he turned to zouk and collaborated with names like Thayna and Imélie Monteiro on a song called Elle ou Moi. In 2012 his career took a big turn when he signed with Universal Music France and started recording his solo album which is an urban pop style under the label GivMeAll Records. The track titled Avec Toi, featuring Tunisiano reached the top 5 of iTunes sales and became popular. The next year he released his first album I Look Like You, made up of 12 songs with a mixture of R&B, pop, and the Caribbean sounds.
