Born Abbas Hamad on May 27, 1987, in Paris, France, Bas is an artist signed to Dreamville Records and Interscope Records.
He tagged along J. Cole on tours and in 2011, he finally dropped his mixtape Quarter Water Raised Me Vol. I. He released the follow-up record on 2013. In 2014, he dropped his debut album Last Winter. The album made it to Billboard 200 and landed on No. 103.
Bas dropped his sophomore album Too High to Riot in 2016. This album landed on No. 49 of the Billboard 200 chart and No. 6 on the US Rap charts. Some of the tracks included in this release are “Dopamine” featuring Cozz, “Night Job” featuring J. Cole, and “Ricochet” featuring The Hics.
In 2018, he dropped the album Milky Way which contains the tracks “Tribe” where he collaborated with J. Cole and “Fragrance” featuring Correy C.
