William Laird Cowher, better known as Bill Cowher, is an American retired football player, coach, and esteemed sports analyst, celebrated for his exceptional contributions to the NFL. He was born in Crafton, Pennsylvania, United States, on May 8, 1957.
His illustrious NFL journey commenced in 1979 with the Philadelphia Eagles, showcasing his immense talent and dedication to the sport. Throughout his playing career, Cowher also had a significant stint with the Cleveland Browns and later returned to the Philadelphia Eagles.
