Comedian and actor Billy Gardell, was born William Gardell on August 20th 1969 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Billy started his career in stand-up comedy from a dare with his co-workers at the local comedy club. He took to the stage on open mic nights, and went on to open for Dennis Miller and George Carlin. Gardell then joined the International Thespian Society Troupe 850. Leaping into acting, Billy appeared in a string of projects including The King of Queens, Judging Amy, Bad Santa, The Practice, Avenging Angelo, Dragon Wars, My Name Is Earl, and You, Me and Dupree. Billy landed a starring role in the comedy series Mike & Molly, alongside the beloved Melissa McCarthy. Gardell’s extensive resume, includes appearances in various TV shows including Bones, Family Guy, Girl Meets World, New Girl, Sun Records, Angie Tribeca, Young Sheldon, and Bob Hearts Abishola.
