Brandon Graham is an American professional football player born in Detroit, Michigan on April 3, 1988. He is currently a defensive end for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. As a kid he played football for the Police Athletic League Detroit Giants until he joined the eighth grade team at his school Crockett Vocational Tech. He went on to play college football at the University of Michigan for the Michigan Wolverines from 2006 to 2010. In 2010 he was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the first round 13th overall in the 2010 NFL Draft and was signed to a five-year contract with the team. On September 19, 2010 he recorded his first NFL sack against the Detroit Lions. In 2015 he almost signed with the New York Giants, but decided to stay with the Eagles and signed a 4 year contract for $26 million with $14 million guaranteed. In 2017 he played in his first super bowl in Super Bowl LII against the New England Patriots. The Eagles won the super bowl 41-33. Graham signed a three year extension contract with the Eagles in 2019 for $40 million. Throughout his career in the NFL he has had 316 tackles, 42.5 sacks, 17 forced fumbles, 4 fumble recoveries, 7 pass deflections, and 1 defensive touchdowns.
