Bri Steves was born on January 27, 1995, on East Falls, Philadelphia. She graduated from Temple University.
She opened for Dave East and Freeway, and in 2016, The Fader’s Revolt TV named her as one of the “5 Artists Ready to Be Philadelphia’s Next Champion.” She worked with Dyshon Warren to develop “Summer’s Mine” which was inspired by Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff’s “Summertime” (1991). She also won the monthly showcase competition Philly Uprising held on World Café Live.
She performed at the Made in America festival with Kendrick Lamar. She has also performed at Philly’s biggest venues such as Theatre of the Living Arts and John Brenda’s.
In 2018, she dropped the single “Jealousy” which were produced by T-minus and Yung Berg. In the same year, she released two more tracks “Ain’t Shit“ and “Late Night.”
