Brian Courtney Wilson is an American gospel and contemporary Christian singer born in Bellwood, Illinois on November 1, 1971. As a child he started singing in the adult male chorus at the Rock of Ages Baptist Church in Maywood, Illinois. In 2009 he released his debut studio album titled Just Love produced by Stan Jones. The title song on the album was nominated for a Dove Award for Urban Recorded Song of the Year and Wilson was nominated for New Artist of the Year. He has since released the albums So Proud, Worth Fighting For, and Great Work. Wilson landed his debut role in acting in 2014 in the television movie I’m Only Human. In 2015 he was signed to the label Motown Gospel and released the single “Worth Fighting For” that received worldwide attention. Throughout his career he has been nominated for a number of awards and has won three Stellar Awards and a GMA Dove Award.
