Cate Blanchett is an Australian actress and theatre director.  Her work has won her two Academy Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and three British Academy Awards.  She is also a seven-time Oscar nominee and has received numerous accolades for Notes on a Scandal (2006), Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007), I’m Not There (2007), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), How to Train Your Dragon (2014), and Carol (2015).  Blanchett has also graced the stage in the productions Electra (1992), Plenty (1999), A Streetcar Named Desire (2009), and Uncle Vanya (2011), among others. Upcoming projects include Weightless, Thor: Ragnarok, How to Train Your Dragon 3, and Jungle Book: Origins.
