Charles Billingsley Bio
Charles Billingsley was born on January 7, 1970 in Clovis, New Mexico. He finished school at Samford University and immediately began to start making music, eventually joining the Christian band NewSong. They released the album People Get Ready, which featured one of their top tracks ever, Arise My Love. He would later leave the band, but not before putting out several other top hits.
Billingsley became a pastor at Thomas Road Baptist Church in 2002, but in 2005 he moved to San Diego, California to expand his ministries and work with David Jeremiah, who is a best-selling Christian author as well as the founder of Turning Point Radio. As of 2017, Billingsley is a pastor at Shadow Mountain Community Church but also travels as a solo artist and attends several large religious conferences.
