Charlotte de Witte Bio

Charlotte de Witte is a Belgian DJ and electronic music producer, also known as Raving George. She was born Charlotte Aloïs de Witte on the 21st of July, 1992, in Ghent, Belgium. She started performing as a DJ around 2010, mainly playing at parties and local venues. In 2011, she won a Studio Brussel DJ contest which led to her performing at the Tomorrowland festival. She released her debut EP in 2013 under her alias, soon followed by a string of EPs and singles, including “You’re Mine” featuring Oscar and the Wolf, which became a hit. In 2015, de Witte started releasing her music under her real name, marking also a shift in her sound towards darker techno. Her first EP under her name “Weltschmerz” was released on Turbo Recordings, but after 2019, she mostly released music under her own label, KNTXT.
