Chester Rushing is an actor and musician born on November 17, 1991, in Houston, Texas, USA. Before acting, he worked as a music therapist for autistic children. Chester trained in acting and drama at the WACT Academy in 2010. He fronts a self-titled alternative rock band. His single, Paint the World, reached number two on the Italian Pop charts.
Chester is best known for portraying Tommy Hagan on Netflix's critically acclaimed series Stranger Things. He appeared in an episode of Popternative in 2015. Chester starred as Roman in Don't Look in the Basement 2 and Brian Hendrich in NCIS: New Orleans. He portrayed Jerry Larkin in the 2016 film Cold Moon.
Chester voiced Ven in the 2022 video game Horizon Forbidden West. He also voiced ZeffWinkYo-Yo in the TV series Big Nate. Chester has starred alongside Brooklyn Anne Miller, Brandon Micheal Hall, Jamie Campbell Bower, and Woody Harrelson. He starred in The Long Run, Interview with the Vampire, and Beyond the Law.
