Leury José Tejeda Brito, better known by his stage name Chimbala, is a Dominican rapper, singer, and songwriter who performs hip-hop and urban music. He was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on May 18, 1989. Chimbala began his music career in 2012 with the release of his debut single Digo E, and his music has since evolved to become some of the most notable urban music in the Dominican Republic. His discography includes the hit singles WOW BB, Rueda, El Boom, Tumbala, Esta Si, and Loco with Justin Quiles and Zion & Lennox.
