Christopher Allen Hawkey is a radio celebrity and country music artist born on 25 December, 1970, in Indiana, United States. He started his first band as a teenager in high school and after graduating started working at a radio station in Virginia Beach. In 2001, he grabbed the opportunity to do a morning show for KFAN-FM. The show got famous and attributed directly to Chris Hawkey’s meteoric rise in fame. In his spare time, he invested time and effort to his music. He recorded two projects as a solo artist, “Minutes to memory” and “Pursuit”. In 2008, he sang for a band called Rocket Club. After leaving it in 2014, Chris formed the Chris Hawkey Band as the lead vocalist together with Ryan Liestman on keyboard and Michael Bland as drummer. The band has since released successful albums like “Shine” and chart-topping singles including “My Kinda Crazy” and “Good Liar”
