Chuck Palahniuk is an American novelist and freelance journalist born in Pasco, Washington on February 21, 1962. He is best known for writing the award-winning novel Fight Club, which was made into a film of the same name. Chuck describes his writing as transgressive fiction. He attended college at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and graduated in 1986.
