CID Bio
CID is the stage name for the American DJ and producer Carlos Cid. He was born in New York City, New York and from a young age had a love for music. At 11 years old he would take the bus to his favorite record shop to find new music. At 12 years old he started DJing at his father’s restaurant in Queens, New York. He has played gigs around the world from places like Barcelona, Spain to Las Vegas, Nevada and others. In 2013 he won a Grammy Award for his remix of Lana Del Rey‘s song “Summertime Sadness.” He has collaborated with artists like Kaskade, Galantis, Conrad Sewell, and more. Some of his singles include “No”, “Secrets”. “Take Your Place”, “Fever” among others.
