Cole Swindell, born Colden Swindell, is an American country singer-songwriter raised in Bronwood, GA and currently based in Nashville. His breakout single, 2013’s “Chillin’ It” hit number 1 on the Billboard Hot Country charts and is certified Platinum with over 1 million copies sold. After “Chillin’ It” was released independently, Swindell signed to Warner Bros. Records and released his self-titled debut record in 2014. The album peaked at number 2 on the US Country charts and number 3 on the US charts. The single “I Hope You Get Lonely Tonight” off his debut record peaked at number 7 on the US Hot Country Singles charts and is certified Gold.
