Courtney Vandersloot Bio
Courtney Vandersloot is a basketball player who currently plays for the New York Liberty, which competes in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). Born on 8th February 1989 in Kent, Washington, United States, Vandersloot played high school basketball for Kentwood High School. She later enrolled at Gonzaga University and had an outstanding basketball career.
She started her professional career with Chicago Sky after being selected in the 1st round (3rd overall pick) of the 2011 WNBA draft.
She was a regular starter for Chicago Sky in the seasons that followed, helping the team to reach the 2014 WNBA Final. She also has an outstanding season, leading the season in assists per game. In 2019, she was selected in the WNBA All-Star Game. Vandersloot has also played for the Turkish club Besiktas and other clubs, including Wisla Can Pack, Yakin Dogu, UMMC Ekaterinburg, Fenerbahce, and New York Liberty.
