Cryalot Bio
Sarah Midori Perry, widely known as Cryalot, is a singer, keyboardist, and DJ born in Nagoya, Japan, on March 4, 1991. Her genres of music include electropop, indie pop, and indie rock. She is associated with Double Denim and Polyvinyl Record Co. She earned a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Kingston University London.
Cryalot was the lead vocalist of the London-based musical group Kero Kero Bonito (KKB). The group included Gus Lobban, Jennifer Walton, and Jamie Bulled. She ventured into djing in 2019, performing her first show in February 2019. She released her solo debut single, Hell Is Here, on June 20, 2022. Jennifer Walton produced the song, and Joshua Homer directed its music video.
Cryalot released her debut EP, Icarus, on August 26, 2022. The five-track EP focused on the Greek myth of Icarus. She made the Japanese version of Miku by Anamanaguchi. She was on songs by マクロスMACROSS 82-99, A. G. Cook, Brad Breeck, and Ulzzang Pistol.
