Danilo Bio

Danilo Luiz da Silva, popularly known as Danilo, was born on July 15, 1991 in Bicas, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He is best known for playing as a right-back for Juventus and the Brazilian national team.

Prior to joining Santos, Danilo began his career with America Miniero. He scored the game-winning goal to secure the 2011 Copa Libertadores while he was with Santos. In January 2012, he joined the Portuguese side Porto, where he won the Portuguese league. After playing with Porto for three years, Danilo joined Real Madrid for 31.5 million Euros.

In 2017, he moved to the English Premiership with Manchester City for £26.5 million. While at City, he won two premier league titles, one FA Cup, and two EFL Cup titles. In 2019, he joined Juventus in an arranged deal that saw João Cancelo move in the opposite direction. He won the Serie A title in his first season with the club.

Danilo earned his first cap for Brazil in 2011. He won the 2011 U-20 World Cup and the Olympic silver in 2012. He also competed for Brazil in the 2021 Copa America and the World Cups of 2018 and 2022.
