Dante Basco Bio

Dante Basco is an actor born on 29th August 1975 in Pittsburg, California, United States. He is widely recognized for playing Rufio in the adventure film “Hook”. He started his career playing minor roles in television shows. His first major role was in 1991 when he played Rufio in the film “Hook”. He went on to guest star in the television shows “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper” and “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”.

In 1999, he was cast in the satirical romantic teen comedy film “But I’m A Cheerleader” as a gay teenager. In 2006, he starred alongside Antonio Banderas in the drama dance film “Take the Lead”. He also appeared in the films “Flipped” in 2010, “Paradise Broke” in 2011, “Bad Asses” in 2014, “Hansel and Gretel” in 2014, “Murder 101” in 2014, “The Fabulous Filipino Brothers” in 2021, and others.
