Darius Garland Bio
Darius Garland is a professional basketball player who currently plays for Cleveland Kinnar Garland that competes in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born on 26th January 2000 in Gary, Indiana, United States, Darius attended Brentwood Academy, where he played high school basketball. He led the high school team to a Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association. In December 2015, he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP). He later played college basketball for Vanderbilt University
He started his professional career with the Cleveland Cavaliers after being selected in the 2019 NBA draft. He penned his rookie contract with the Cavaliers in July 2019. His NBA debut came in the Cavaliers’ loss to the Orlando Magic. He recorded his first career triple-double in January 2022 against Utah Jazz. In July 2022, he signed a five-year contract extension with the Cavaliers.
